Terms of Service

Last updated 31 July 2026 · Operated by Kazido, a sole proprietorship operating in New York, United States

These terms govern your use of Kazido. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What Kazido is

Kazido creates masked email addresses (“aliases”) and relays mail sent to them to a forwarding address you nominate. It can also send replies on your behalf so that the alias appears as the sender.

Kazido is a relay, not an archive or a mailbox. We do not guarantee that any message will be stored, and you should not rely on Kazido as the only copy of anything. Mail held in quarantine is deleted on the schedule described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, whichever is higher.
  • You must give an accurate email address and keep it current. Account notices go there.
  • You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by anyone you give access to.
  • Keep your password and any API tokens secret. Tell us promptly if you believe either has been exposed.
  • One person or organisation per account. Do not share, sell, rent or transfer an account.

3. Acceptable use

This section is the heart of these terms. Breaching it is grounds for immediate suspension or termination without notice and without refund.

3.1 You must not use Kazido to break the law

You must not use the service for any purpose that is unlawful in the State of New York, United States, in your own country, or in the country of anyone you correspond with. This includes but is not limited to fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, trafficking of any kind, the sale of controlled substances or weapons, and the distribution of stolen data or credentials.

3.2 No unsolicited or bulk mail

  • Do not use Kazido to send unsolicited commercial or bulk email, of any volume.
  • Do not use aliases as reply-to, return-path, bounce or landing addresses for a bulk mail campaign sent through any other system.
  • Do not use Kazido to harvest, verify, test or validate email addresses.
  • Do not use Kazido to sign up for services on behalf of people who did not ask you to.
  • Kazido is for personal and business correspondence. It is not a mailing-list platform, and using it as one is a breach whether or not recipients complain.

3.3 No harassment or abuse

  • Do not use aliases to harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, defame or bully anyone.
  • Do not use the service to publish or transmit another person’s private information without their consent, including addresses, phone numbers, identity documents or financial details.
  • Do not use masking to evade a block, mute, restraining order, ban or any other measure a person or service has taken to stop you contacting them. This is a direct misuse of the product and we treat it as one of the most serious breaches of these terms.
  • Do not use the service to contact anyone after they have asked you to stop.

3.4 No deception, impersonation or fraud

  • Do not impersonate any person, business or public body, or misrepresent your affiliation with one.
  • Do not use Kazido for phishing, credential harvesting, business email compromise, invoice fraud, advance-fee fraud, or any confidence scheme.
  • Do not use aliases to create accounts in someone else’s name, or to defeat identity verification, age verification, or “one account per person” rules on another service.
  • Do not use aliases to obtain trials, refunds, discounts or promotional benefits you are not entitled to.

3.5 Absolutely prohibited content

You must never use Kazido in connection with child sexual abuse material, content sexualising minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or material that incites or facilitates terrorism or mass violence. There is no warning and no appeal for this category: accounts are terminated immediately, and we report to law enforcement and to relevant reporting bodies where the law requires or permits it.

3.6 No technical abuse

  • Do not send or link to malware, ransomware, spyware or any malicious code.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to Kazido, to other users’ accounts or mail, or to any connected system.
  • Do not probe, scan or load-test our infrastructure without our written permission.
  • Do not use automated means to create accounts or aliases at a scale or rate that degrades the service for others.
  • Do not circumvent plan limits, rate limits or any technical restriction.
  • Do not resell, sublicense or offer Kazido as part of your own product without a written agreement with us.

3.7 Domains you use

If you connect a custom domain you warrant that you own or are authorised to administer it. Connecting a domain you do not control is a breach of these terms and may be unlawful.

4. Enforcement

We may, at our discretion and without prior notice:

  • suspend or terminate any account, alias or domain;
  • refuse, hold, quarantine or stop relaying any message;
  • impose or reduce sending and receiving limits;
  • preserve records where we reasonably believe they are relevant to an investigation; and
  • disclose information to law enforcement or other authorities where we are legally required to, or where we reasonably believe it is necessary to prevent serious harm.

We are not obliged to monitor traffic and generally do not. Acting in one case does not oblige us to act in another. If we terminate your account for breach, fees already paid are not refunded.

Report abuse to abuse@kazido.com.

5. Your mail

Mail sent to and from your aliases is yours. We claim no ownership of it. You grant us only the permission necessary to operate the service: to receive, store, process, transmit and relay messages on your behalf, and to keep quarantined mail available to you until it is deleted.

We do not read the content of your mail, and we do not use it for advertising or to train machine learning models. What our staff can and cannot see is described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Plans, billing and cancellation

  • The free plan is limited to 5 aliases on our shared domain and does not include custom domains.
  • Pro is billed in advance through our payment processor. Prices are shown on our pricing section and exclude any tax we are required to add.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; Pro continues until the end of the period you have paid for and is not prorated.
  • If a payment fails we may retry it and may downgrade the account to the free plan.
  • Downgrading to free while over the free limits does not delete aliases, but you may not be able to create new ones until you are within the limit.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice to your account email. Changes take effect at your next renewal.
  • 14-day refund. If you are unhappy with Pro, email support@kazido.com within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full, no questions asked. We offer this to everyone rather than working out who is entitled to it, and it is in addition to any refund or cancellation right the law gives you where you live.
  • Renewal payments are not refundable, because you can cancel at any time before one is taken and keep Pro until the period you have already paid for runs out. If a renewal catches you by surprise, write to us anyway — we would rather sort it out than argue about a few dollars.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Kazido running continuously but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service, and we offer no service level agreement. Mail delivery depends on networks and providers outside our control. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service; where a change is material and adverse we will give reasonable notice.

8. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that every message will be delivered, that quarantine will always classify correctly, or that the service will meet your requirements.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost business, lost data, or missed or delayed messages. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US$100 if you paid us nothing.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the service, your mail, or your breach of these terms — except to the extent caused by our own breach.

11. Ending your account

You may close your account at any time from the dashboard or by contacting support. On closure we stop accepting mail for your aliases and delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Mail sent to a closed alias is rejected, not held. Clauses that by their nature should survive termination do so, including sections 5, 8, 9, 10 and 12.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially reduces your rights we will give at least 30 days’ notice to your account email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Kazido after that means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, and the courts of the state and federal courts located in New York have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
